ASEAN’s Energy Future with “Make It Safe”

Bangkok, Thailand – July 1, 2026

From July 1 to 3, 2026, the 22nd ASIA Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW 2026) was grandly held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. As Southeast Asia's largest and most prestigious renewable energy industry exhibition, ASEW is organized by Informa Markets with strong backing from Thailand's Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry. This year's event brought together 394 participating brands from over 60 countries and more than 26,300 professional visitors, spanning 20,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Under the brand theme "Make It Safe," Suntree showcased its full portfolio of grid-connected photovoltaic systems and DC protection solutions at Booth Hall 1–4 G-L1, delivering a comprehensive presentation of its one-stop system integration capabilities and safety technology expertise in the PV sector to customers and partners across Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Rooted in Thailand: Seizing Policy Momentum, Consolidating

Market Advantage

Thailand stands at the forefront of ASEAN's energy transition. Its 2024–2037 Power Development Plan explicitly sets a target of 51% renewable energy generation by 2037 and mandates 15–25% energy storage for large-scale PV projects. This policy direction has fueled surging demand for highly efficient and safe photovoltaic and energy storage electrical equipment.

As Suntree's earliest-established and most deeply-rooted mature market in ASEAN, Thailand has always been a strategic cornerstone for deepening the company's regional presence. In the 1MW grid-connected PV project publicly documented on Suntree's official website, the company's DC protection and combiner products had already demonstrated exceptional stability under the region's challenging high-temperature and high-humidity conditions. At this exhibition, Suntree aims to reinforce long-term trust with established local customers while further solidifying its brand presence in an increasingly competitive market through its leading technological advantages.

Product Spotlight: SOLINK Series Debuts, Building a Complete

Safety Portfolio

At this year's exhibition, Suntree highlighted two DC protection product lines — the Amber Series and the all-new SOLINK Series — forming a complete safety portfolio that spans from "proven reliability" to "next-generation performance."

Built upon the mature Amber technology platform, the SOLINK Series encompasses high-precision components including DC circuit breakers, surge protective devices (SPDs), and fuses. Featuring patented double-break point and double-arc extinguishing technology, the series effectively overcomes the arc extinguishing challenges of 1000–1500V high-voltage DC systems — where natural current zero-crossing does not exist — marking Suntree's advancement in DC protection technology from "reliable" to "ultimate."

In addition, Suntree showcased integrated PV-storage energy storage cabinets and smart combiner boxes incorporating core protection devices. These products not only embody the "True DC Optimization" design philosophy but also deliver millisecond-level breaking speed and exceptional environmental adaptability, providing a solid safety foundation for the long-term stable operation of PV power plants in Thailand.

The entire product range has obtained major global certifications, including TÜV, CE, CB, and UL, fully complying with Southeast Asian grid standards and market access requirements.

On-site Highlights: Bustling Booth, Charting the Future Together

Throughout the exhibition, the Suntree booth maintained strong momentum, emerging as a focal point of the show. Numerous long-term partners from Thailand and across the ASEAN region visited the booth, conducting project performance reviews based on operational data and engaging in in-depth discussions on next-phase strategic collaboration. The newly launched SOLINK Series, with its breakthrough in high-voltage DC arc extinguishing technology, drew keen interest from professional visitors and procurement officers, generating a steady stream of technical inquiries and business negotiations. This trust-based interaction not only validates the enduring reliability of Suntree's products in challenging environments but also demonstrates that the company's channel stickiness and brand presence in the Southeast Asian market have grown increasingly robust.
