AC MCB is not recommended for DC systems. The arc extinguishing system designs of AC and DC circuit breakers are different. DC current has no natural zero-crossing point, making arc extinction much more difficult than with AC. Using AC MCB in DC systems may result in arc extinguishing failure, contact welding, or even fire risk. For DC applications, please use Suntree dedicated DC MCB products (such as the SL7N-63 series).
